    Prescription Diet l/d Dry Dog Food is designed for the nutritional management of dogs with liver disease including hepatocellular disease, portosystemic shunts, chronic canine inflammatory hepatic disease, fibrotic hepatopathies, biliary disease, and glucocorticoid-induced hepatopathy.

    In certain circumstances, as with puppies with portosystemic shunts or other liver conditions, this product may be fed to puppies with careful supervision of a veterinarian.

This dietetic pet food has a moderate level of high quality protein, high levels of essential fatty acids and highly digestible carbohydrates and a low level of copper.
